While I agree his skill set is remarkably similar to Tyreke, I think if we end of signing him it's simply a matter of BPA. We need all the talent we can get even if the skill set overlaps.
With the assumption Tyreke moves back into the starting lineup while Jrue is out him running the point for the 2nd unit allows us to keep that attacking style of player. He also played a good number of minutes last year and started quite a few games. Shows he doesn't crumble and has talent. I have to assume this year is a matter of SSS and new coach asking him to do different things.

This is a good sign. Another young guy that has an attack skill set. If he can make a few FT, DISTRIBUTE, and an occasional 3, why not. Give him a chance. We sure gave a lot of chances to AR

We are making improvements in this roster. Sure it's not the best of the best but we are better without Rivers and adding Qpon and Wolters will possibly improve this team just a little bit. What we need is STABILITY not superstars. Not now at least.
I'm glad Dell is working on getting backup SF and PG addressed!!!! Good for him. The better Dell does his job the less excuses Monty will have.
That is because Marhsall has looked better and has a 3 ball. If they had cut him we would have picked him up too. Nate has a different skill set and isn't as good. He is still better than what we have.
I want Dell to add a CLUTCH type vet to this team. We need a better endgame Pitbull 4th quarter mentality. EG has that ability but we need to add a reliable vet to step in and win games.

Btw, it is now official. He signed and is on a plane to meet us in Detroit.
He has a good BBIQ. The videos show him as an attacker with good instincts on defense and offense. He has good balance and instincts when driving to the rim.
If he's on the floor with Ryno, Jimmer, Babbitt he might actually provide what we need. I like his upside. Let's see....
