I've gone every year but I have to take the ACT this year
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
I really despise the fact that Pelicans Live events cannot be viewed once the original broadcast is terminated.
It was fun.
Tyreke did show up late for some reason. Ran with the white team. Didn't do a whole lot. Davis got some nice dunks, but he wasn't playing very hard. Withey was working hard as was Babbitt and Jimmer. They all played well.
Micheal "Beerman" Lewis walked right by me before I realized it was him. (As well as an attractive Pelicans employee, who was why I didn't realize who Lewis was until he was already by).
Also got spooked by Pierre sneaking up on me, that rascal. But that's what I get sitting in an aisle seat.
Tyreke just be late

Turnout was better than I expected. Late comers had to be guided into open seats.
Davis looks stronger an more aggressive. Post moves should be here next year. Gordon may never be as explosive as when he first got here, but his dynamic skill set can't be taken for granted. Good at breaking down the defense and finding the bigs down low for easy buckets, or shooters in the corner. Ryno can SHOOT. Withey has finally woken up. Ajinca's jumper looks as nice as Davis'.
Jrue split a hedge and went in for a dunk but got fouled. Wish he would try that in games.
They didn't go hard but overall well done event.

The "Beerman" was right across the aisle from me and was wearing his SB ring.
I saw Pierre sit down in the aisle right by where the Beerman was and kinda put his beak on the shoulder of an older gentleman who had his back to the aisle and was looking the other way in what looked like an effort to spook him. Was that you? Because if it was I was sitting right behind you with the red Pelicans cap.
The big guy with a beard, red shirt, and a crucifix on my neck? Then yeah.
