Someone suggested in another thread that it would be totally awesome if at 1 PM they introduced the new New Orleans Pelicans jerseys and Greg Oden came walking out from behind a curtain with a #52 Pelicans Jersey on.

I'd loop that ESPN broad cast clip and play it all day....

You're on EST, aren't you? We've had this problem before where for some reason their counter gives you the time from your IP until the time of the event rather than giving the time from current CST until the event. (it says 2h 45 for me right now)

I don't see why they wouldn't be available at the team store ASAP. When the rebrand was announced, the Hornets Nest had merch that day.

We are on CDT not CST! We don't go back to standard time until November. JrueOrleans probably is on Eastern Daylight Time so that is why his countdown is less than most here.

@sportslogosnet: What I know about the new Pelicans uniforms -- home white, road blue. Both will say "NEW ORLEANS" trimmed in gold and same font as logo

Your reply made me see it haha. I already stated earlier, the team isn't trying anything groundbreaking with the uniforms. I honestly expect plain looking blue uniforms for the road and plain whites for home with New Orleans on both. I suppose my prediction was accurate, but hopefully am still off base.

I have a feeling we will have quite a few disappointed posters in the next 1.5 hours. My gut says the jerseys will be fairly simple. By the sounds of it, we have a few people who are hoping for glitter and sequence.
