I don't think Dallas was on his radar anyway... I'd say Us, MIA and ATL are the 3 teams that have the best shot.

I believe he's going to Miami.

ATL just brought in another big man too... I would say us, Spurs & MIA, not in that order. MIA & SAS have backup plans on Oden and now some people in Miami think they are leaning toward using the exception on Mo Williams who can contribute right away. I think we are the most genuinely interested team IMO and I hope Oden sees that
The 'onion'...
Something stinks! Hmm...
NEW ORLEANS
There is NO place like Home!
I think we get Ayon if we miss out on Oden

Guys, as much as I liked ayon... He kinda sucked....
the onion also has a story about Lebron James announcing his retirement.
Ayon is probably the type of player who would really benefit by playing on a good team. His passing skills and finishing near the basket would really translate.
I do want Oden, but if we can't land him, Ayon would be a tremendous addition.

Jrue and Ryan are on the oden bandwagon
Any of you insider people have any scoop on the Big O?
If he does... its for a chance at a ring. I say this for a few reasons...
1. MIA is gonna expect him to contribute now... they don't have time to wait for him.
2. You can't go to South beach and play for the Heat, and expect to not get hammered by the media and the fans
3. He will have turned down more money AND more stability.
How could we want Ayon?? every single player on our roster is better than Ayon lol.
Greg Stiensma is a better rim protector ... Lance Thomas is just worse I agree.
Having Ayon as your 5th big, I don't think it gets any better then that. Does suck he would be the oldest on the team though.
Thought I heard that Monty was on his way home today. If so, why have Oden go to Vegas, or was all of that just a rumor? I wonder if meeting even occurred.
I'm kind of surprised that Marc Stein and Jeff Goodman, the ones that wrote the article about Oden's workout and his supposedly "long-anticipated" meeting, haven't followed up on this. If they have, they surely haven't written or said anything about it. The guy posted the picture of Oden on a plane heading to Vegas. He could have met with Monty and company this morning or earlier today and then Monty could have headed home afterwards. I guess the question is if they were meeting, could Greg have just met Monty and company in New Orleans? I don't know. I guess we'll know soon enough. I HOPE we know soon enough so we can move on either way.
Wouldn't quite call us "Rebuilding", but definitely not a win a championship now environment and far less pressure. It'd be a nice happy medium for Oden where he feels there is plenty of talent & a team thats still young & growing
Bill Duffy, Greg Oden's agent, to http://t.co/yMtDVeU0Z9, "There might be less pressure if he tries this with a team that’s rebuilding."
