McLemore's defense doesn't get a lot of mention. But he's not to far behind Oladipo in that category. Very quick with good length.

I was responding to AD's projecting Len. I think he will make a greater impact than Noel, but yes I think Porter would be the guy to get them to the playoffs.

agreed, he only real weakness in my opinion is creating his own shot, which im not worried about really.

Great vid of plays McLemore was a part of. Doesn't just show his makes either. Shows his misses, bad passes, as well as his deep 3 bombs.

I really can't see Utah taking Lucas.

  6. #31
I agree. I see Lucas as a late first rounder. He will probably go to San Antonio.

    Another McLemore vid.

Would love McLemore, but i doubt he is there still. I think Bobcats/Hornets take Bennett, Phoenix takes McLemore, and Burke and Noel will be there.

  9. #34
I'd cut myself is we took Bennett.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

You know i meant Charlotte as the hornets, right? We are the Pelicans now. I was saying we would have to pick between Noel and Burke. (Burke being my choice)

    My draft prediction:

    Cleveland- Noel
    Orlando- Oladipo
    Washington- Porter
    Charlotte- Bennett
    Phoenix- McLemore
    New Orleans- Len
    Sacramento- Burke
    Detroit- Carter Williams
    Minnesota- Caldwell Pope
    Portland- McCollum
    Philadelphia- Zeller
    Oklahoma City- Steven Adams
    Dallas trades the pick.
    Utah- Mason Plumlee

Didn't realize you were on the team. But I don't think salary cap rules allow players to be cut. By themselves or the team.

It is frowned upon, but I took that as a guideline more than a rule.

Although this draft is weaker than last year's (and we're not getting a franchise player), I found it much more exciting because of all the uncertainty. Last year we all knew we were picking Davis, but this year...

I would like to get McLemore I think he has a lot of potential. I think he'll be a great guard in this league. If your draft happened I wouldn't be mad at all. I say as long as we don't get Noel, Bennet, or Len (unless Len is the BPA) I'd be happy with Burke, Porter, McLeMore or Oladipo

IF that is what goes down. Here is what I would do with the rest of my off season...

::Go back into the draft by trading Lopez or Smith for a 2nd round pick and draft Pierre Jackson (PG, Baylor)

::Trade Eric Gordon for Larry Sanders/and whoever will make the money work.

    ::Sign Iggy/Brewer/Budinger a Veteran SF

    LineUp

    Vasquez/Jackson
    McLemore/Rivers
    Vet SF/Miller
    Davis/Anderson
    Sanders/Lopez or Smith

The new twin towers in Davis & Sanders. Formidable Front Court for the next 10 years.

Talk about a nice looking roster!

    I've got:

    1. CLE-Noel

CLE loves the analytics (see Tristan Thompson, Dion Waiters). I just don't see them passing on Noel, who has great analytics.

    2. ORL-Oladipo

Trading Afflalo for Bledsoe would indicate they plan to take a SG. It sounds like McLemore had a bad workout for them, so I'm going with Oladipo.

    3. WAS-Bennett

Allegedly Charlotte is convinced enough that Bennett is the pick at 3 that they are shopping MKG.

    4. CHA-Porter

Again, allegedly Charlotte is convinced enough that Porter will be available at 4 that they are shopping MKG.

    5. PHX-Len

Things get tough here. Apparently McLemore had a bad workout in Phoenix as well, so I'm going with Len here. This could very well be McLemore.

    6. NOP-McLemore

    !!!

I've got pretty much nothing to back me up, but I just have a strong hunch Phoenix is going to take McCollum.

And I'm pretty sure Len is going #1 to Cleveland or they're going to trade the pick and that team will take Len.

I'd love if Cleveland took Len. If they take Len, Orlando is almost forced to take Noel, and then we have McLemore, Dipo, Burke and Porter available through the next 3 picks. One of them will be available, hopefully McLemore or Porter.

That's the dream scenario, but if Cavs take Noel, does Orlando just go with McLemore or still goes big?

Report yesterday said Noel is probably the pick if Cleveland doesn't take him.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
