this reminds me how poorly this franchise was run when we had a "win now" mentality when our star was about 23...

Low expectations around here. I remember a certain Hornets squad was predicted to challenge for an 8th seed as well. Heck even when they held the number 2 spot at the all star break people still predicted a lower seed spot due playoff time. That squad secured a legitimate 2 seed that year.
I just want the playoffs. I'll let the team decide the seed.
