    Mike Dunleavy, Jr.

How would you like him if we draft Burke and sign Pekovic?

He's a veteran glue guy. Hold the spot until a better option presents itself.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to it but I'd rather Webster to fill in the same role.

I really like Dunleavy as a player though. I think he'd be a really nice player for a contending team. Just at his age I don't think he's a great fit for us since I think he's going to command a decent price. If he comes cheap, sure.

At his age, he'd make a great spot up shooter.

Damn man you posters and age. What are you 15? Basketball is not football. 32 could be someone's prime. SMH.

He's turning 33 in September. The same age Iggy would be if he signed a 4 year contract.

Pierce led Boston at 33 to the Finals. I know this isn't Pierce, but still.

Okay I think I've read the Paul Pierce example thrown out at least 3 times recently.

Paul Pierce was not in his prime at 33. He won the championship because he got better talent around him.

But Pierce wasn't 33 when that happened. That was Rondo who lead them that year. And you're right, Dunleavy isn't Pierce. Pierce numbers have been steady even after he aged. Dunleavy on the other hand, has been steadily declining since Indiana.

You do know this is just meant to be a stop-gap player, right? Sorry I went off on a tangent.

Ofcourse I do, but I think he has tremendous value as a spot up shooter. There were games were he absolutely caught fire last season. I think he will play well into his 30s if he wanted to due to his ability to shoot and rebound.

He's okay, but would rather someone else to fill that role. Martell Webster is who I want the most cause he could play either the 2 or 3. Dorell Wright is another that I would add over him, but he's just a 3. They have quite a few mid level wings that will be available this offseason. Hopefully we can sign a somewhat big time player at either small forward (Andre Iguodala or Josh Smith), center (Nikola Pekovic or Al Jefferson), or point guard (Brandon Jennings). Then sign one of those mid level wings as well, considering right now we could use two to take the place of Aminu and Mason. This all depends on who we get in the draft and if they believe Darius Miller is ready to be the back up small forward. Also if we do sign a point guard or draft one and keep Vasquez, will they move Austin Rivers to shooting guard.

He was a great value on his recent contract.
