too bad no one has hindsight....you don't keep poorly performing players because they might do well in the future. they didn't do jack here so its easy to say now with the benefit of hindsight.
Tyson couldn't stay healthy to save his life and when he was he wasent doing much at the time when he could get on the floor.
although I still am not happy about the Jack trade.
All those ppl I named they proved them selves... The players I named never played poorly... I thought they preformed pretty well... But you know what I notice and please correct me if I'm wrong... Every player we had on this team ppl would bash them if it was Thornton and Gv with their defense, if it was jack and his contract ( and trust me ppl was talking bout it) and there's more... Ppl act like some players dont have faults... and the perfect players they do have ppl don't want to pay for them... And with us trading away all our nice pieces who do we have now???
the only thing these players proved was to be very unreliable. Whether it be health or off the court activities.
Birdman was suspended for the year after drug related issues, JR had attitude problems and still is kind of a headcase, Thornton is an inefficient Chucker that had he not gone to LSU no one would give a second thought of, and Chandler couldn't pass a damn physical...what exactly did we give up?
Lol funny you are right we didnt give up much just the 12-13 6th man in JR smith, the 11-12 DPOY in Tyson, and 18ppg person in Thornton... Nothing special... And to let it be known I rather Thornton then to have a person that 1 Says his heart's in Phoenix and 2 can't even play the whole season
Trades are made everyday in the NBA. What do you want us to do? Go back and re-acquire all those players? Geezus.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

JR Smith was traded in '06 bud, for Tyson Chandler, so it would of been impossible for both of them to play for the Hornets with Chris Paul. So exactly what connection does JR have to Chris Paul? Trading Tyson, whom our doctors thought had a degenerative ankle or toe, is the trade that sent Paul over the edge. Shinn promised him he would keep him, West and Chandler together and that's when Chris became bitter.
Birdman was and is a joke. He used to do cocaine with Shinn's son all the time, and then had some child pornagraphy charge against him while in Denver. He's be a great role model for AD
Thornton is an inefficient scorer, who does absolutely nothing else well
Jack was traded AFTER Chris left, so I'm not sure how this would matter to him
So that leaves Tyson as our bad move, and yes it was an awful one. It happens when your owner is George Shinn and your GM is Jeff Bower.

Fun debate I guess. One thing we won't have to worry about is CP in a Pelican uniform. He (himself) hasn't burned any bridges in N.O. but CJ Paul can go and play in traffic on I-10 at 4:30pm for all I care. Monty and Dell don't want that headache.
I thank CP for his time here... for what he's done on and off the court in N.O. but that ship has sailed.
So far as the disparity in money, both Houston and Dallas can pull up a PowerPoint on how the lack of a state income tax in Texas, coupled with California’s new 13.3 percent income tax on the highest earners, make the Lone Star State a better value play.
To an alienated Paul, are these presentations more or less alluring than reminders from the Clippers that he likes Los Angeles, has been given influence in personnel decisions, has gone 6-11 over two postseasons and gets to work out at a cool training facility?
The Clippers have a month to smooth things over, and there’s a good chance they’ll be able to placate Paul after this brush fire dies down. Yet the fact that they’ll have to expend the energy to do so is a net loss for the Clippers, and it bolsters the skeptics’ case that however capable Clippers management is these days, ownership will find a way to muck things up.

I've said Dallas for a while. Let's see if I'm right. In case you have not noticed,
