The rumored Curry for Stoudamire trade between GS and Phoenix a few years ago was discussed after the draft. The Harding trade happened after the draft last season. So there is precident!
Indiana tried to trade Granger before his injury. I just looked him up to see how old he was and I had no clue he is from NOLA. Born and raised.
With Indiana having so much success without him I'm sure they're going to want to ship him the second they're eligible to this summer. I'd be SO down to add Granger and get rid of EG at the same time. He is a SF who can score, which is something we desperately need, and EG is a guard that Indiana lacks big time. He'd be a perfect compliment to Paul George for them.
You've sold me. I'm 100% on the Granger to New Orleans bandwagon. It's probably the most realistic thing I've heard so far.
Not again![]()
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Please no Granger, I prefer Stephenson 10 times out of 10, and I don't care where the players were born.
If Pacers lose this series, I could see Granger, Stephenson, and pick 23 for Gordon/Vazquez easily.
I think there is a better than even chance Granger's knee is deteriorating, and if that's true, you trade him at the deadline or let him expire. If somehow his knee stabilizes and he can give you 15 and 7, you resign him at a discount and have a vet that led a young pacers team through the playoffs in 2012 provide solid leadership while our young guys mature.
Stephenson is a great asset to have and pick 23 could also be a great asset.
