Yeah - I'm not concerned with offensive improvement from him. On that side of the ball, he's a fine player as a point guard.
Defensively, he just can't cover speedy point guards, which will always make him a liability as a starter unless we had an Avery Bradley type in there to switch with him on defense - but I don't think Vasquez could cover a whole lot of 2-guards either.
As the poster above wrote - it is def. possible for him to be more effecient offensively - so if he improves a lot there, maybe it will be worth it to deal with his defensive problems for a little while.
