Thread: Individual Draft Workouts will change Everything

Individual Draft Workouts will change Everything

There are many players who increase /decrease their stock based on workouts. I highly expect thatto happen this year (Steven Adams)

The Pels will get a steal come Draft night.

What's ur prediction for draft night jumpers?

    I have 3 scenarios

    1. CJ Mac jumps to number 5 to Phoenix

    2. Shabazz jumps to number 4 to Charlotte

    3. Shane Larkin jumps to number 2 to Orlando (biggest surprise)

CJ McCollum and Anthony Bennett are the two most likely to have their stock rise via individual workouts.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

How is Bennett going to workout with his injury?

Is Bennett even going to work out? He's hurt.

I can definitely see Bennett going #3 to the Wizards.

My bad. You guys are right. Bennett is a no-go for individual workouts. I still see him going in the top 5, nevertheless.

I might be alone on this but I think Noel is going to fall like Drummond last year: Busted wheel, very light, raw undeveloped offensive abilities.

I thought about this as well. Dude weight may start a bad chain reaction for him.

I will bet you $1679009765445786421111679009999999999999999999889 9.99 that Larkin doesn't go in the top 5.

This is as far as I would go.
We want more! We want more!

i think the suns go either zeller or bennett letting either mclemore or oladipo fall to us.

I'd be shocked if Shane Larkin goes anywhere close to the top 5. He's small, with a very short reach. He's athletic and pretty skilled, but I think he'll go in the 20s.

Yeah I could definitely see Noel slipping a few spots. I don't think he'd get past Washington though. Too good a spot for them to take him, rehab him in Okafor's last year, then let him loose.

The more he slips, the better for us. And more chance that Len will be taken top 5 which again, better for us.

I really am starting to believe that at least two of our "big three" choices will be there at 6 guys. Likely Oladipo and Burke.

Just because they fall doesn't mean we'll catch them. I can see guys like Caldwell-Pope and Schroeder rising up the boards.

Also, the guest on the podcast made an interesting point regarding Len and Bennett's ability to move up without workouts. Basically Len didn't have as many questions to answer, so workouts were probably more likely to hurt than help, so he may move up because he doesn't get the opportunity to look bad in workouts where Bennett being undersized had something to prove to teams and won't get the opportunity to do so and therefore may fall.

I'm pretty confident that one of them will be taken top 5 and our pick will be the perfect place to be.

I could see Dennis Schroeder going ahead of Burke after workouts.

I keep thinking about Noel and Davis together on the team.

    Saric jumps to 6.

I think CJ might move up to us in the 6 with his workouts. I think he's stock is going to go up like Lillard's did.
