I am pretty sure Demps is considering all possibilities.

It's all but written in his job description to consider all possibilities.

I hope one of them is DeMarcus Cousins. Rather him than any big in this draft.

I love his game. Uneasy about the locker room presence. I'd trade the 6 for him in a heartbeat, but the fact they sent off t rob makes me think they're building around cousins.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Cavs get Ryan Anderson, Grevis Vesquez, Eric Gordon

Pelicans get CAVS 1st pick 1st round

    I tried!

  8. #33
Yeah I thought about that just now. I'm giving up way to much in giving Cleveland Ryan Anderson, and Cleveland won't take Gordon's contract so scratch that thought.

In this draft I would. Kylie + Gordon is a sick back court add to that Bazz. . .man. I'd do that in a heartbeat.

But who in this draft worth giving up Gordon plus whoever we could get at 6? I'm sure Cleveland would consider this. EG injury history the only reason they don't instantly pull the trigger.

I never said I'd make this trade. Someone asked if The Cavs would, I think it's a no brainer in this draft.

    Could they afford Gordon's contract?

Don know. Can't think of anyone on their roster making big money. Kyrie still on his rookie contract and I don't think Varajua making a ridiculous amount.

remember the day after last years lottery

    "Hornets may trade #1 pick"

Every year this happens, how many picks have been traded after they went #1

Of course. They don't have a single max player contract on their roster.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

The scenario here is that that the Noel won't be able to play till February. Is Cleveland willing to wait?

Nobody wants to draft #1... Cleveland is stuck with the pick, so they might as well take the player they want. Cleveland will take Otto Porter #1.

I don't think Cleveland will get the value needed to justify a trade. Maybe the Wizards fail in love with Noel(not sure how considering he can't workout). Or maybe the Magic are willing to part with someone like Andrew Nicholson to trade up one spot and Cleveland can still get the player they want in Porter.

    i disagree to a point...
they could easily trade down to 3 with the wiz, and take porter at 3
wiz take noel, magic take mclemore, cavs get their man at a lower salary

what would it take for the cavs to make that move?
    not much

    past three, they won't trade

The difference between the salary is like 900k from 1 to the 3 pick in year 1. I hardly think they'll think that's worth the risk.

When can we stop talking about the draft? We clearly know that the guys that will be available where we are now will help us whatever that position may be. None of us thought we'd get Paul and somehow he fell to us back in that draft. Lets all relax, take a break during this time of lull in our schedule, and jump back in when #6 is actually on the clock.

Also, stop posting trade ideas too. Enjoy your summer vacation, Pelifans!!!

You think the Wizards would want Eric Gordon and/or G,V and our #6 pick for their(Wash) #3 pick? I mean they(Wizards) were nice enough to take Okafor and Ariza last season?
