I agree. That works out very well for BOTH sides.

Gonna be some good players left at 16, someone's gonna drop.
    Wherehappens.

Actually find myself hesitating on who I want more of the B point guards.

    Burke. Bradley. Bledsoe.

With Burke you potentially get an offensive dynamo with unlimited range, solid court vision, and excellent compliment to our franchise player on the pick and roll and in transition. Far superior on offense than either, at least based on what he did in college. Nothing is certain.

Bradley you get one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. But little else. Athletic, explosive. Great wingspan. Not much in the way of point guard skills, however.

Bledsoe, better athlete than Bradley or Burke by far. Stronger. Not quite the defender Bradley is, but damn good. Great in transition and can finish above the rim. Rebound. Block shots. Posted solid numbers as starter in limited time.

You'd have to move him to a contender that he is willing to play for and that is willing to take on that much salary for one year, and give something back in terms of salary.

The Clippers, for instance, would have to move some major contracts to us like Deandre Jordan to get it done.

Well you forget that you can easily have two of all three. Give me Burke and Bradley please.

That is a very small backcourt.

Bledsoe and Burke are the same height. So blame Bradley. Doesn't exactly hurt his defense does it?

I think we can do better than Bradley and cap space. Not terrible, but I rather gamble on a draft pick/player.

Ideally you want your defenders to be taller, but really, who are the best perimeter D guys in the league? LeBron, Iggy, Bradley...

Hell. That's a good question I hadn't considered. Who would you bring up after that?

Bradley would have to play the 2, his PG skills are terrible.

    What a surprise:

    @JimmySmith504
Source says rumors regarding possible Eric Gordon trade by #pelicans have no merit.

Get bradley and trade peirce to OKC for jeremy lamb or perry jones and their pick.

  14. #39
I wouldn't have liked this trade anyway, unless we had traded Pierce for a valuable player.

Well now you can place money on that Clippers deal going down.

Saw a tweet posted on a Clippers site about how the two sides haven't even been in contact. I can't find it now if I tried. I just figured everyone had seen it too. I'll try harder next time, I promise.

They want this trade really bad, so I would imagine a lot of the rumors of any variation of Bledsoe to the Pelicans originated in LA.

Muggsy registered 39 career blocks. Height is an excuse.

Thank goodness this isn't true. This deal would blow for the pelicans. A bigger potentially better version of Bradley is available via the draft....victor oladipo and Paul Pierce wouldn't play a second in Nola and im sick of hearing about cap space....we have plenty. All of these so called rumors going around are bogus. dell is not going to make a trade without clarity of what will happen in the draft. Tonight will give everyone a better idea since we will know where we are picking but Nothing will happen until we bring guys in to workout and interview so the staff can truly evaluate talent, potential, and fit of prospects with our team.

Tony Allen. Maybe Thabo behind him?

I think Avery is still a beast defensively and can be that defensive wing that Monty loves.
Bradley is overrated IMO. He is a solid defender, but really cannot play the point. So, you are stuck with a severely undersized 2 that does really nothing other than defend.

I'm an advocate of keeping Gordon but I would actually like this trade if it were possible.

I would not mind that trade either if it comes with a pick. Bradley is a lockdown defender, one of the best on the lg, he shots the ball pretty good and can also get to the rim.
