I agree with this statement. We DON'T necessary have to focus on getting better at the C position this year. We have better needs to getting a wing that can score and a faster PG to run the fast break more (Like Monty said on his last press conference). I think a decent big on a great contract is one of the least of our worries.

    my picks

    pg.
dj augustine - from nola, young, athletic, ready for his prime
chris paul - not likely, but who knows

    sg.
wesley johnson - athletic, young, may finally be ready to sprout
martell webster - can dunk and shoot 3s, not always smart or driven
elliot williams - high risk high reward.

    sf.
al farouq aminu - best rebounding small forward in the league, defensively gifted, needs to improve game awareness, but has improved each year in the league, still young, will get better.
josh smith - great player, but not worth the money he'll command

    pf.
brandan wright - perfect backup for a.d.
andray blatche - can play, but is he better as a team player?
dejuan blaire - great rebounder, but weak knees and longevity concerns

    c.
al jefferson - if we're really modeling our franchise after the spurs, than we need a david robinson for our tim duncan. this may be our guy. he would compliment a.d. very well and may make us playoff caliber.
dwight howard - we'll have the cap room, but is he a cancer?

the only way we get howard is to get paul too. not likely, but that big 3 would win.

Blair has played in 288 games, actually.

Funny how you compare Jefferson to Robinson.

This off season I would love to find away to get Bledsoe and sign JR Smith, I believe Smith would be a nice addition to this team, in B-ball you can't have enough scorers.
I think we or okay in the front-court with Lopez, J-Smith, Davis, Anderson, and either Amundson or Thomas, what we need is an upgrade at pg and better scorers from the wings.
