Does anyone know a date, I sent an email and asked last week but never got a response from the franchise. I want to get on what ever they look like even thought the price might be higher at first reveal. Am I the only one stacking up on hornets gear?
Unveiling the new designs around the draft would make sense. For many basketball fans that's the last time they pay attention to their team until after football season.

I also agree with AD though that an appearance at the Finale would be pretty awesome.
No reason to wait until football season to kick off merchandise sales. I'm sure they want people walking around in Davis, Rivers and Oladipo Pelicans Jerseys all summer.
They should be wearing them for the final home game.
For warmups, that would be cool.
jerseys and court will probably come out around draft time (after the lottery before the draft... maybe a week or so before)... after the NBA Finals... so the Pelicans draftee can hold up the jersey at the draft
can't happen during football season b/c in my opinion that's just too close to the opening of the NBA season (training camp, etc)
as for something at the last home game... I suggest the Hugo retiring to give the Hornets a proper send off... and MAYBE revealing the new Pelicans mascot but I'd more than likely be against that... unveil the mascot (Seymour D Fair?!?!?!?!) at either the uniform unveiling or 1st Pelicans home game

The BKN Nets didn't unveil the uniforms until October right before the season started.
True, but I think we would want our draft pick holding up a Pelican's jersey.

Funny, I had imagined our first game with the stadium announcer shouting "RELEASE THE PELICANS," initiating the release of numerous live pelicans into the crowd, only to terrorize them and **** all over the place.
I'm personally interested in the court design. Parquet floor like the Celtics?. Maybe a two tone floor like the Clippers, T'wolves and Raptors have.
Also I wonder if they'll go with the new style "key" that has less lines on the floor similar to the Thunder, Lakers and Raptors.
The court more than likely will be a light colored wood, because of the deep colors used in the logo.
The parquet look is sweet. I'm not generally a fan of the two-tone. It will be interesting to see what they come up with.
Also looking forward to seeing the new uniforms. A few other teams have red and blue schemes, I hope they do something to make the uniforms stand out. I've never really cared for the stripes. I like the mardi gras unis, hope they keep that tradition.
