"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

    Regular Season

Atlantic:Washington Wizards. Really tough pick here. I'm just going to go with my Gut here and say the Wizards will be able to figure it out in a VERY tight race with the 76ers.

Central: Hornets. Bucks put up a fight but have to refigure some things out. I'm pretty sure no one wants to play the Bucks in the playoffs.

East: Hornets (9 Games up with not many to go)

Midwest: Grizzlies. Manu is hurt and the Grizzlies have a legit team, but the Rockets will make this one hell of a race if they don't outsmart themselves.

Pacific: LA Lakers I typically try not to pick myself, and if the Kings didn't have Van Horn out, i'd pick them because they've been tough all year.

    West: LA Lakers

    Playoffs:
    East
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Bulls: Nash, Nene, Lefrenz.. oh wait and LeBron who could be the MVP.
ECF (series and how many games): Hornets (4) vs Wizards (2)

    West:
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: I'm going to go with the Clippers. D Wade Dirk and Zach wouldn't be easy to vanquish. The #1 Seed could be more trick than treat.

WCF (series and how many games):Memphis Grizzlies (4) LA Lakers (3) Grizzlies been terrible in the playoffs but i think that may turn around. I think my team is just as good, but i can never seem to make it to the finals lol.

Finals Series: Hornets (4) Grizzlies (1) Hornets Solid at all 5 positions and a bench. Grizzlies 4 and not much of a bench.

    MVP: KG
    6th Man: Othella Harrington
    Rookie: Dwight
MIP: Jalen Rose. Ok he started out at 18 ppg so there wasn't much room to go up. Instead he's getting 28 ppg. Unreal.
GM: janjanjan3-> Got Grant Hill for a nickle. Got Mcdyess for a dime. Had Kobe already. Commish kind of gets thrown out because he's been dominant. Kind of that PJax deal for coach of the year lol.

Most Surprising Team this Season (Good): Bucks. It's not that i didn't expect them to make the playoffs. I just didn't expect them to be this good, this fast. Good job Quail. Honorable mention to the Nets. No Point Guard? No Shooting Guard? No Problem.
Most Surprising Team this Season (Bad): Sonics. With the big 3 he had before the trade i thought he'd at least make the playoffs.

Team with the best Outlook 3 years from now: Rockets
Team with the Worst Outlook 3 years from now: Warriors Had them over the Sonics . Sonics have some value to hand out in trades and a top 5 picks with the Magic this year.

With Current Rosters, which team would you love to take over: Rockets or Magic

Prediction on Who Wins the Following
    Regular Season

Atlantic: Sixers (Wizards finishing in close second)

    Central: Hornets

    East: Hornets

    Midwest: Grizzlies

    Pacific: Lakers

    West: Lakers

    Playoffs:
    East
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Knicks
ECF (series and how many games): Hornets vs Wizards, Hornets winning in 6 (hoping this is wrong though)

    West:
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Timberwolves (finally getting healthy)
WCF (series and how many games): Lakers vs Grizzlies, Lakers winning in 7 (Peja won't be able to stop Tracy McGrady, and AI will handle Joe Johnson.. Question is will the defense of Shawn Bradley and Ben Wallace be able to stop Brand and Mourning)

Finals Series: Hornets vs Lakers, Hornets repeating championship in 6

    MVP: Probably Kevin Garnett
    6th Man: Othella Harrington
    Rookie: Dwight Howard (duh)
    MIP: Gilbert Arenas
GM: Hard not to give it to the Lakers after their turnaround
Most Surprising Team this Season (Good): Hawks
Most Surprising Team this Season (Bad): Magic (Shareef injury hurt this, but even before then)

Team with the best Outlook 3 years from now: Magic
Team with the Worst Outlook 3 years from now: Warriors

With Current Rosters, which team would you love to take over: Hornets

    3/4 Of the season Projection

Was the outsmart comment about me starting Rodney Rogers at the PF?

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Great idea here. Im going to enjoy filling this out!

    Regular Season

Atlantic: Philadelphia; Have an easier schedule than the Wizards

Central: New Orleans Hornets; The defending champions have ran away with the Central title

East: New Orleans Hornets; See above explanation but replace Central with Eastern Conference

Midwest: Memphis Grizzlies; With the injury to Manu in Houston, Memphis should pull ahead

Pacific: LA Lakers; 9-1 in their last 10 and i dont see it stopping for the rest of the regular season

West: LA Lakers; LA takes advantage of a weakened western conference from years past

    Playoffs:
    East
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Boston Celtics; Have people forgotten about the C's? Their only a few years removed from a championship run and I believe they are quite capable of doing it again.

ECF (series and how many games): Hornets (4) vs Celtics (2)

    West:
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Timberwolves; Plenty of starpower to scare a top team
WCF (series and how many games): LA Lakers (4) vs Kings (2)

Finals Series: Hornets (4) vs Lakers (1)

    MVP: Kevin Garnett
6th Man: Some obscure player like always
    Rookie: Dwight Howard
    MIP: Jalen Rose
    GM: BallSoHard
Most Surprising Team this Season (Good): Nets; no one expected them to be this good
Most Surprising Team this Season (Bad): Sonics; thought their starpower would have kept them afloat

Team with the best Outlook 3 years from now: Bulls
Team with the Worst Outlook 3 years from now: Raptors; in 3 years i feel like theyre going to regret giving big contracts to Miller and Martin

With Current Rosters, which team would you love to take over: Hornets

Can't believe I missed this thread

Prediction on Who Wins the Following
    Regular Season

Atlantic: 76ers - consistently very good

Central: Hornets - maybe greatest team ever

    East: Hornets

Midwest: Rockets - It will be close, but I think a healthy Manu will put them over the top

Pacific: Lakers - They just want it more than the Kings and they will figure out how to use the big 3

West: Lakers - Slight edge over the Rockets because TMac will be back shortly.

    Playoffs:
    East - Hornets:
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Knicks
ECF (series and how many games): Hornets in 4 over 76ers

    West:
Team the top 3 seeds would LEAST like to play in round 1: Blazers and TWolves
WCF (series and how many games): Rockets in 6 over Lakers

Finals Series: Hornets in 6 over the Rockets

    MVP: Garnett
    6th Man: Al Jefferson
    Rookie: Dwight Howard
    MIP: Mo Pete
GM: Hornets - best record and under the luxury tax
Most Surprising Team this Season (Good) Rockets - 3 straight losing seasons now Western contenders
Most Surprising Team this Season (Bad): Bulls

Team with the best Outlook 3 years from now: Rockets Hope I don't screw it up
Team with the Worst Outlook 3 years from now: Seattle looks like they're ready to move

With Current Rosters, which team would you love to take over: Pistons - they have a chance for a nice rebuild. That would be fun.

I read that wrong. I'm gonna change it.

I'd pick the Cavs to take over, build around Duncan... Zolinho doesn't deserve his greatness
