I'm not ignoring the fact the team lacks NBA talent .. But come on Monty let the team go 8 minutes without scoring a bucket before calling a timeout

So a coach not calling a TO means the team is poorly coached?

Do you watch any team aside from the Hornets? Monty is far from the only coach that does this.

There were open shots that were missed and turnovers. What the hell was a timeout going to do? "Hey guys stop turning the ball over (like have been shouting to you all game) and convert on those open looks. Thanks."

Yeah I have seen many hall of fame coaches do that when they have hall of fame players on the floor who can figure it out on their own .. This is a young team & you let them go 8 minutes without scoring 1 bucket

I understand what you are saying .. Players gotta make plays . But as a coach you can let your team go 8 mins without scoring a bucket without at least drawing up a play to get a easy bucket

Maybe he wants them to live and learn and play out of it?

I'm sure he doesn't like seeing it happen, and I'm sure he has his reasons for not calling a to.

They had several easy buckets on the normal plays they were running. They just missed. It happens. :shrug: Basketball is a game of runs; you should be used to that by now,
