It's always been that way. Like before with the big signs on the side of the arena. But at least they've all looked better than Baron Davis's hideous mug that used to be there. *shudder*
And there's two of them to boot. One on both corners. And I thought it was a poster, but they're big honking screens? Interesting.
Posters? They were straight up giant stickers. Flat wall looks like it still has glue residue on it.
Video boards can be 24/7 commercials for eventual naming rights folk.
Anything to cover up the throw up green bathroom tile...except huge stickers.

I think Hornetsfan was being really, really sarcastic. I think he's highlighting EXACTLY why these will be high dollar assets (and why there are some many billboards, etc. in the area already.

Has there been any recent word on the mega-awesome renovations for the Arena? Not too long ago, they were talking about potentially adding some nice glass-windowed restaurant thing on the side that faces the expressway. Since the Arena's in/next to BensonLand, I wouldn't be surprised if he instigates some nice changes.

The arena tiles should be replaced with tiles that are similar in style,design and color to the Dome. IMO
Whoever ok'd that tile needs to be slapped with gloves.
I couldn't agree more. It's a bad look just by itself, but it's exponentially bad when set next to the Dome. They could have at least tried to match the colors with the Dome. Isn't that just basic architecture and design?
One of the panels is now operational. Just a bunch of still images but very bright at night. I'm sure Aminu will be pleased since one is a huge image of him on the dribble. Others are the upcoming games.
