Glad to see the organization is leaning into the city's mystique and culture.

The name Lakers intrinsically has nothing to do with Los Angeles, and of course, the name Jazz is about as foreign to Salt Lake City as an EV is to a gas pump.

I still think the team needs to really invest in this scheme/theme. It's immediately popular with the fans in a way that almost none of their other, more typical stuff has been.

Not saying it needs to become the default colours or anything, but it should be a regular alt-court and jersey combo going forward. It's awesome and leans into part of what's unique about New Orleans.

Sure. Why not just change the team to Voodoo Pelicans? Am I joking? I don't know. It's so bizarre I kind of like it.

It seems to me that's exactly what they're doing. The gear is everywhere and they're using the alt jerseys (and now, the court) many more times this season.
