The NBA will not allow a team to sit a player who is healthy even if he has requested a trade. If he gets injured, so be it. We knew the risk going in and I would much rather take that risk than try to trade away the Lakers poo-poo platter. And you'd better believe if he gets a hangnail our trainers will be advising 2 weeks of rest. This was the gamble you had to take and us as fans can decide how we want to treat AD when he steps back on the court.

I Will BOO him with vitriol. He can't tell the players, coach's and the entire organazation that they all SUCK to the point that I'm leaving , but before I go, I want to play a few pick-up games with you guys to stay in shape, OK? Screw him.
I told you guys, if he has any incentives in his contract, AD would have a case against them under the CBA. That and Demps is just so far in over his head. The guys has zero business running an NBA franchise.

Honestly, what does this change? Had he not requested a trade now and played out the season the risk for injury does not change. This changes nothing compared to where we were two weeks ago. Except now we just know he won't be signing the extension.
