Probably same thing as last game. Gentry was only playing Payton is 6 minute segments, while he works his way back into the lineup. He's played 7 minutes now, so I'm guessing that's his limit at one time for now.Originally Posted by AusPel

yeah tim has been horrible. the lineups trotted out seem to have zero talk and communication on the defensive end.
Just a comparison: Elfrid Payton played 7 minutes. He was a +1 +/-.
Frazier has played 8 minutes. He is a team worst -21.
Ironically, I am watching Day One of the Sydney Test. I couldn't function without Reddit.

Well, we are playing SUPERB Paint defense . We are literally guarding the paint.
This is always the worst thing. Once a team gets confident enough, once they've seen enough shots go in, they get fearless and then it almost doesn't matter how good you play defense after that. They just make everything.
Can't shoot or defend the 3... Wrong era to have that problem.
All of a sudden the 22 point deficit is down to 14, and the momentum has changed after multiple stops and scores.
Turns out if you play defense, you can win.
