Love, Love, Love Our TV/Radio Broadcast Teams

We really do have a great broadcast crew.

Joel has an incredible style and sense of humor. Wesley has become a great player analyst and has jelled well with JM. Erin Hartigan is a fun studio host. Really loves or appears to love working with the Pels (studio is Dallas-based). I can listen to Nancy Lieberman all night. She pulls stats from a game, I never even think about. We had 102 possessions tonight? Listening to these guys post-game has been a real treat.

On the radio side - Sean Kelley is fantastic. A true professional. OK, that's my two cents.

Wesley is a diamond in the rough. Went from mumbling and umms to one of the best color commentators around. Awesome dude in general

Even when he started I loved him. Just a welcoming presence. Also love his reactions to cool things that happen, so genuine.

Joel is just a legend. So blessed to have him as our play by play guy.

Yeah definitely a big appreciation for the pels tv broadcast crew (online radio access isn't accessible without using a VPN).

Yep, Joel and David are great and a giant upgrade from the previous broadcast team. I like to watch game replays of the other teams broadcast just to get some outside perspective on the Pels, and I can attest that Joel and David rank among the very best in the league. It’s a world populated with blatant homers and former players doing “color” commentary that amounts to worn cliches and old war stories about how things were in their day.....Agree also on Lieberman. She’s the real deal. Ceballos...meh.

Joel Myers is the best commentator in the league, bar none. He's funny, without trying too hard, observant, and always willing to point out when the Pels are in the wrong on a play. He's no homer, but he's still clearly got priorities within the game, which is a difficult balance to strike. He nails it.

Wesley is great too. He's not quite on Joel's level, but they work really well as a pair

They're so good that sometimes, if I can't get the Pels stream to work on he NBA app, I'll just watch the game on mute because any other team sounds amateurish in comparison.

We do have very good TV/radio broadcasts. I do miss Gerry V though. He is excellent at calling a game!

How can I have forgotten Jen Hale too? Amazing what she has been through here recently, yet she keeps on going without missing a beat...no pun intended.

Like Hale, but not a fan of how they try to shoehorn her pieces into the broadcast during game action sometimes. You can go two or three minutes of run time with the game on split screen and her interviewing someone about their foundation.

I actually think most of the time you can do without a dedicated sideline reporter at NBA games. David can handle pre, post and halftime interviews with players and coaches just fine and the rest is just human interest fluff thrown in because that's no required in sports broadcasting for some reason.

I'll never forget when he called Greivis Vasquez "Greivis with mashed potatoes." I nearly lost it.

sorry to hear that, I hope he recovers. He was a loose cannon and more times than not hilarious with it.
