Jrue has had his worst half for a while, but has 9/2/2. His problem has been turnovers.
We had 7 turnovers in the first quarter, but only 1 turnover in the second. That's a big improvement, and the kind of thing we wanna see more of.

I don't think AD has led Ayton score on him once. He just denied him twice in the post on consecutive plays.
It's kind of funny because in terms of pure box score, Johnson is having a pretty Solomon Hill game (4/1/1 with 3 fouls) but he just looks so much better and plays with so much more hustle.Originally Posted by AusPel

It ruins the offense just by him being on the court. He is 0 for his last 10 from every spot on the floor. Every minute that he is on the court is a minute that the other team can guard is 5 on 4 because they know he is a zero-level threat.
And it's not like he's killing it as a playmaker either: he is averaging 2 assists a game in the last four games he's played. He is -45 over the last six games. We are just categorically worse with him on the court. God I can't wait for Payton to get back.

AD continues to play like himself again, Jrue dropped 19/7/9, and Randle put up a 20/15 game in his second start of the season. Diallo looked good, Moore was Jesus, Frank Jackson single handedly won the game by being himself, Tim Frazier continues to be allergic to scoring, Ian Clark has been really good recently.
