Remember, fellas. No Payton. He would be handling the ball so much more. Less TOs. More assists. Curry would probably have less points. This bad defensive rotation will fix itself. We have a lot of new faces. Just like last year, it will clean up. And I really think Johnson will come on strong.

I'm not too mad. I hate losing. A lot.
But you're right. Payton was huge for us while he healthy, so it makes sense that losing him is huge. And AD won't have another game this bad every night. He has them every once in a while, but he's usually much better. So I expect better.
Besides, we're all upset, but after the start of last season we were 3-4 at this point. Now we're 4-3. It's fine.

Both Davis and Jrue played 42 minutes each and they are expected to play tomorrow.

At this point I just want to see the team stay healthy.
Wins will come against the rest of the other teams.
I hate the Warriors.
Yeah. And AD's arm was bothering him. We should have just sat him and taken the loss to be reserved for tomorrow. Like I said on page one, we'll be lucky to be. 500 or over after this road trip.
But that's fine. And I am still optimistic about this team and think we'll be top three in the west when all is said and done. Payton, Randle, Jackson, and even in some ways Hill and Niko are all new and getting acclimated to this team. Breakdowns and bad rotations are going to happen. We'll tighten up. I also think Johnson is going to be starting at some point. And in a decent way. Still the weakest position but enough of an upgrade where it's not a hole.
Bahma. Do whatever you can to survive. This road trip will be brutal but we'll pull through.
Remember. We are 4-0 when all of our starters are playing.
Utah beat us good. Denver had a solid win and GSW just beat us. We are 4-3. I think there are people behind the scenes that are trying to screw the pelicans organization over. They want AD and then you have toxic people like Cousins and David Stern and the media Paul Pierce etc all contributing to the narrative.
We have a good team but if we don’t go on several serious winning streaks early, I think the AD story of him leaving will become reality. We will need to trade him but before we do something like that, if it comes to that, we need to fire Demps. Hire new GM trade AD and rebuild. It’s sad but I think we are running out of time.
