I agree but i doubt anyone on the team has him on their mind.

Okafor in great position for a rebound, got his man boxed out, and Diallo just jumps in out of nowhere for it and knocks it out of bounds.

I wish I could watch the local broadcast to hear my guys Joel and David!

ESPN crew was very complimentary of us.

Can I also be proud that we did this in spite of the refs who were clearly for one side then the other

That D in the paint was a thing of beauty. They got the blown coverages, but they weren't walking in the paint. Payton was just relentless

The team played with a lot of fluidity, I’m pleasantly surprised at Payton’s play and I think the communication on the court is what caitupulted everybody’s game tonight. Did y’all see how Jrue suffered offensively but stayed in as a glue guy during the 4th to help make a couple of plays? You can see the chemistry starting to show with this group. Gotta see how we play when opponents are dropping threes though, Houston missed some shots that usually go in for them.

Now, if we just do that 95 more times, we get shiny rings out of it.

    Asides the obvious...

I thought E'twaun had an outstanding game. Competed well, cut hard, stepped up as a ball-handler when Payton or Jrue were off the floor (and often with some 2nd unit guys).

Defense looked nice- the way they defended Harden reminded me of the treatment they gave to Lillard and CJ in the playoffs. Have Jrue hound him and if he get picked off send help for the big and even try and trap... the rotations on those plays to help the helper looked like a team that had been together for years.

I don't think anyone was... We was just afraid to get ref out of the game.

Man it’s a shame we couldn’t get Randle on at least a 2-3 year deal.
