    was so excited seeing okafor execute that backing down slam then deflated seeing him do his ankle. hope its nothing major.

    Coach said tonight after the game that Jackson and randle we're "fine" and okafor looks to be not as bad as expected but we will know more tomorrow morning

    An MRI revealed a right ankle sprain for Jahlil Okafor and he will miss the next 1-2 weeks of action.
    Okafor should be ready for the start of the season, but keep in mind that he's on a non-guaranteed deal, so the Pelicans could still cut him prior to the regular season if they weren't impressed with his performance at camp. Even if he makes the team, we don't anticipate him making much of an impact in fantasy hoops this season.

    I think we keep him. I had doubts but now this he would be a great contributor on the 2nd unit.

    I like him as a player. Really hopes he makes the team. Looked good in the minutes he did play imo.
