For sure. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Mitchell, obviously that's a best case scenario, but his game reminds me of him so much I can't help but hope.
Edit: also will add that Jackson is actually still younger than Mitchell, so there's obviously still chance for his game to develop a little in the NBA before actually being immediately comparable in terms of results.

This is why I think he’s a little in between the 2. He’s not quite has big as strong as Mitchell but close. Has very similar athleticism while playing a style of game that resembles CJ. He’s a legit lottery pick talent and if it wasn’t for his broken foot he would likely have been taken in that range. One huge difference in Jackson left as a freshman while Mitchell and CJ were Soph/Sr.. kid has a ton of room for growth. Really happy he got to work with Rondo for a year and learn from Jrue everyday. Should thrive in a system like Gentry’s that really elevates guards.

I think in a role very similar to Jrue as a combo guard that can play both. Really excited to see them play together and imo have skill sets that are perfect compliments together.
