Rumor here in DFW the Hawks will take Doncic at #3, and the Mavs will take Trae young at #5.

They will swap those players (mavs sending Young to ATL and ATL sending Doncic to DFW) and ATL will send Bazemore to Dallas and Dallas sending Wes Matthews to ATL. Dallas will have to send something else but that's the rumor for now.

I pick a healthy Cousins over both, but I’d take Beal all day over Porter. I think Porter is overpaid and is not a real game changing player. Porter is a complementary player like Harrison Barnes who is at best a 3rd/4th option on a max contract.

Trust me you don't want Mahinmi anywhere near this team. I live in the DMV area...these people would laugh at us if we added him to our squad.

I probably would prefer Beal as well. However, do not discount Porter's defense (and 3pt shooting) in determining his value.

Beal is 25 in 2 days. Cousins is young too but he's coming off an injury. Obviously you run it by Cousins and AD to make sure they are cool with it but Beal would take nothing away from our team as it was at the end of last season. I personally like Jrue at the 2 but Beal and Jrue would work and there's still enough minutes there for Rondo. Dealing Moore for a point forward rounds out the team nicely.

I still think Was is more likely to offer Porter in a Cousins sign and trade. Thats a more difficult decision. Not sold on Porter as he's an opportunistic scorer who's been lackluster in the postseason.
