Western Playoffs Round 2 - New Orleans Pelicans @ Golden State Warriors - Game Five

Not too much to say about this one! We all know the deal: if we play at our best, and the reffing is even halfway decent, we win. If we play without fire or fail to make shots for whole quarters, we'll lose regardless of the ref situation.

I said in the last game thread that somehow, some way, I have a feeling we're going to win this one and head back to the SKC for at least one more game in this series. I hope that my gut feeling was right, because we definitely have the potential to take this one. This should be game 2, take 2: this time, we actually get the win we earn.

Let's hope to see the energy, the fire, the passion, and the activity that we've seen at moments throughout this series again tonight, and let's hope for a good one.

I really hope we come out with a what have we got to lose menatility. Media has us written off, and we play much better as the underdog. Hopefully KD plays more human tonight. Hes great, but game 4 was one of his best performances in a long time. That's tough to overcome even with good D by jrue and AD.

Elimination game in Oracle is a steep hill. Hoping for the best. What I'm looking for tonight is to see a motivated team that fights til the end. Couldn't believe my eyes watching AD of all people give terrible effort in a close game at the half in game 4. Everyone knows he's gonna get fouled a bunch and it won't get called. We cant afford to have him check out mentally if the whistles aren't blowing. I trust him and I think he has a big 30+ game. If he takes over, we win. Live and die by AD.

This is the opportunity we never even expected from this team given boogie going down. We still have some things to figure out as a team and we can have an excellent offseason since we’ve shown the league we are legit. Just play hard tonight and win. If we get the win free agents will be interested in joining us. We can win this game but there has to be a change in defense. Play hard with pride. Give them HELL so they know what they will have to deal with in the next several years.

Warriors in Six. I still think the Pels take at least one off of them at home, which would have to be tonight. The Pels beat up on the Dubs in game 3. The Dubs responded by beating up on the Pels in game 4. It is time for NOLA to show that they have a counter-punch teams will have to respect moving forward.

This offense doesn't use our strength the inside but rather rely on 2nd tier smaller players for offense. We seem to work it backwards.
