Playoffs Western Playoffs Round 1 - New Orleans Pelicans VS Portland Trailblazers - Game Four

    One word: SWEEP.

Our New Orleans Pelicans are precisely 48 minutes of game time away from completing the first 4 game sweep in franchise history, and we get to finish it at home! Can't imagine how insanely pumped up the atmosphere will be in the SKC, but hopefully some of you guys are there to enjoy it.

It goes without saying that Portland doesn't want to be swept, so we'll need to keep our hats on until the end and not get swept away in the celebration, but if we play with even 80% of the dedication, desperation, grit, and fire that we played with in Game 3, this should be a foregone conclusion. Let's hope for big games from our main guys, and a continuation of the Lillard-In-Shackles chronicles!

    SWEEP TIME.

    Gametime!

Great first two possessions. Making them work for trash on defense, and then moving the ball in and out on offense for paint points.

Then followed by two terrible possessions where we take bad shots within 10 seconds. No more of that thanks.

Early foul trouble for Portland. We're 4 minutes in, Lillard has 2 and they have 4 team fouls

    Lillard's shot IQ is atrocious

I know! Rondo with that 360 vision

Lillard cannot defend Holiday. Jrue's too big, too strong, too long.

RONDO TO JRUE ON THE LOB!!!!

    We're hype

Rodno has been so good early

    Ok so how about this?

Damian Lillard was drafted in 2012. That was 6 years ago. He was drafted 6th.
Jrue Holiday was drafted 17th. Jrue wears the number 11.
    11 + 6 = 17. O.O

Who was drafted no. 1 in 2012? Well AD of course. Who won ROTY that year? Lillard.
Who SHOULD HAVE won ROTY that year? AD of course.

So what we have here now, is the ROTY vs the runner-up. In the finals.

Jrue was drafted 17th. Lillard drafted 6th.

    17 + 6 = 23

    AD wears 23.

    Math folks. Math.

edit: And since AD was drafted 6 years ago, and he wears 23...
    2 + 3+ 6 = 11

    Jrue wears 11!!

    AD ERASING THE MISTAKES

Connaughton gets an open cut? AD blocks it!

Ed Davis gets the fake on Mirotic for the layup? AD blocks it!

  22. #22
AD with a third block! He's erasing everything in sight!

End of the first, possibly our worst offensive quarter of the series (shot 16% on threes), and we're up, 26-25. Nice.
