We can say what we want about the ups and downs along the way, but through the Saints and the Pelicans, the man was responsible for bringing about as much joy and camaraderie to this state as any person in its history. He will be missed.

Terribly sad news. Mr. B is a huge reason why professional sports exist in NOLA and we should forever be grateful for what he's done. God bless him and his family.

- The Saints and Pelicans are on solid ground

- They are not selling

- They are not moving

- Gayle Benson has been approved by both leagues

- The transition will be seamless since Tom Benson set it up and planned for this

His twitter bio pretty much says it all...."......NFL reporter.....". It's sad but after 15 years of being in New Orleans, we still have the "Saints only" crowd.
