He's fine, like a lot of old timers that spend part of their time griping about how things used to be, like waxing nostalgic about long twos, or hating transition threes, I wouldn't want to hand the keys over to someone that is a bit stuck in his ways in a game like basketball that is so competitive that you have to be completely open minded to really find that competitive edge in scheming and philosophy.
There are a few characteristics that are pretty universal amongst great coaches in the NBA right now and chief amongst them is a forward thinking mindset.
I am always leery of coaches that seem to not just lack it, but are openly hostile to it. Wesley isn't too bad with it, but you can definitely see it is there.
