Even when Rondo hits jumpers I cringe. Just seeing him rise up for a j triggers an impulsive disgust in me.

The problem is what else is he going to do? He's worthless offensively and guys like that usually sit in the corner. All he can do is dribble around and pound the ball praying someone makes a spot up shot so he gets an assist.. a coach broke down his game when he was in his prime on how his game is tough to win with.. of course unless you have 3 HOFs around you that are some of the best shooters in NBA history at their positions..Originally Posted by Pelicanidae
Asik can make a jump shot but that doesn't mean it's good offense. I cringe everytime I see the starting lineup announced. I'm usually pretty easy on the coaches and trust them with their lineups since they actually see these guys but Rondo has become inexcusable to continue starting. It's a joke

The problem with Rondo is not simply his defense. It's his inability to score efficiently that makes the five man groupings he plays in so terrible. Dude can't hit open shot to save his life.

Tough to play D when we have one of the worst defensive PGs in the league still living off his game 6 years ago and a 6'4 tall small forward.. recipe for disaster
