Pels are still one of the hottest.
Clips and Kings are beatable even sans Boogie
I agree. And I am not saying that they will be better without Boogie.
There are just so many possibilities.
They should rely on the success of lineups without DMC from this season while planning next moves.
And first and foremost talk to AD about playing center 30 MPG
I can see a world where Dante is gone.
As a trade filler.
Curious if Hill will return sooner because of DMC injury
Allen and Nelson are gone IMO (no inside info).
This is the only positive I can find for New Orleans right now. pic.twitter.com/8JNOWXIyb9

If (let's be honest: when) we trade our 1st it absolutely has to be for someone young with upside. We cannot keep going after retreads and expecting the future to be rosy. I'm not thrilled at the prospect of trading the pick in the first place, but if we got someone like Skal (and maybe Z-bo?) it would definitely soften the blow. Demarre Carrol would ******** me off to no end unless we also got one of their young guys too. Carrol and one of Jarrett Allen/Lavert/Dinwiddie wouldn't be awful. But the pick straight up for a 30 something player who is past his prime would be an awful move at this point.
Asik can play 15-20 minutes against DeAndre tomorrow
Nothing should change. Not now or 24 hours ago should the Pelicans be trading anything of value to be better for this season. The Pelicans have a depth issue and that 1st rounder could give us cheap depth. Next year, we should be adding a 1st rounder, Frank Jackson and some other cheap pieces to the rotation.
