Thread: Raptors at Pelicans 11/15/17

The 2nd string guards came in early this game and totally screwed us up. Starting with Moore and his two turnovers in a row.

Why did Miller not get more play tonight? Stupid coaching did that.

It's an ugly loss, but again:

Toronto damn near broke the Celts streak 2 games ago -- lost by 1.

Then last night they blew Houston out on it's own floor and dropped 129 on them.

    Now the Pels.

It's a hot team playing great ball right now.

You sure? I feel like they have had a significant impact and while you can't exactly play that game where you try and add up poor calls and estimate points that should have been, you can say that there are points they have that they shouldn't as a result of poor calls, free throws we should have had if not for poor calls, and the mental aspect that comes into a team when the refs are against them can't be underestimated.
    Basketball.

I hate being right sometimes. Always thought DeRozan was going to be a player.

I hope Frank Jackson plays as well as the rookies the Saints picked this year.

There were questionable calls but the game changed in the 2nd quarter and we had no answer . Toronto got more physical and edgy and we melted. Similar to how many of Gentry teams melt when the pressure gets turned up.

The plysrs get aggravated and they become completely ineffective on the court. Gentry needs to keep the team emotionally stable when things get a little tough. This was still a winnable game at the start of the 4th and team looked defeated the whole quarter .
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!

So how bad do the Thunder beat us?

  14. #264
The no defence show rolls on and we're almost a quarter into the season

They don't, because they're been a huge disappointment so far this season and have dropped games against worse teams and look like they might not even make the playoffs at this rate.

A.D. with 8pts 3rebs after the first quarter.

Whatever it is they are doing against the Pels, the Pels have to figure out before other teams start imitating it.

In fairness, part of it was just poor offense rather than good defense. AD started off 8/10 from the field and proceeded to either not even see the ball, or get it in awful situations from that point on.

It’s really simple teams are being very aggressive and physical with him essentially doubling him and forcing the team to make quick decisions. Teams are allowing us to shoot 3s because they don’t think we will consistently make the shot or we will just throw the ball away.

We have the best two big men in the league. We need to impose our will on teams

  23. #273
Miller needs to get 98% of Cunningham's minutes

  24. #274
Man I can't watch a game anymore without analyzing it. Coaching does that to you. I wish I could watch for the game and not through the eyes of a coach Lol!

AD is playing with back pain. Back injury scare before Atlanta game. He’s been way less aggressive these last two games...
