I feel this way man. What good does it do to have him when he misses almost 1/3 of the season yearly.

I feel like what is going on now has to be what they go to. The constant complaint against Gentry is that he only knows how to coach one way -- he coaches "talent based" systems where you run and free flow and play uptempo to get points and do all the things teams do when they have lots of offensive talent. But right now, with so many guys out, including Davis, I think you can feel the immediate stiffening of the Pels when they got Cousins, Nelson, now, Allen out there. Less free flowing talent, slow it down, get gritty. A whole new theory predicated on what is left of the roster. That's their best chance of competing.
