Trade ideas with CAVS

We desperately need to add a solid SF. I would do this trade without giving up our pick. I think Cleveland would do this trade especially if they could sign Shabbazz Mohamed before the season starts. They'd address multiple needs. Moore could help them a lot and Ajica is a decent offensive center who could strengthen their roster. If they add a good SF I think they will be fine.

The PELS add Shumpert and after this they sign Cunningham. Demps needs to give up the pick and move pieces to add Cunningham and Shumpert. Send Cleveland the pick if they swap us their 2nd round pick. We have to add Shumpert AND Cunningham. That's what Demps is probably trying to pull off. I think he can do this if he is aggressive. We have to go all in NOW. Adding Shumpert will definitely improve our team because his defense is so good. He can generate fast breaks which is critical in beating GSW. Cunningham is worth paying as much as we can to get him. He can hit 3s and he can play PF as well as SF. I really hope demps is super aggressive and gets both of them. Diallo can play backup center and cunning can play backup PF/SF. Shumpert can play either SF or SG. We need to do this because SF is a weakness and Hill is going to miss way too many games and it will hurt the team a lot. We need to get proven players. The other thing I love is Shumpert has won a championship. That helps to have champions.

SF Shumpert, Cunningham, Miller, Jones
PF AD, Cunningham, Diallo
C Cousins, Diallo, AD (at times needed)

With this lineup we will have

playmakers: Rondo, Cousins, Jrue

Defense: Shumpert, Jrue, AD, Cousins

3point shooting: Clark, Cousins, Crawford, Cunningham and possibly Jrue and Miller.

Superstars: AD Cousins

Champions: Shumpert and Rondo

High BBIQ: Rondo, Cousins, Shumpert

IMO Shumpert has a much worse contract than Ajinca, and we are giving up servicable player in Moore also.

So much much better alternatives out here and you guys wanna settle for freaking iman shumpart. I rather take a gamble on James Ennis, Kyle Anderson, Rodney Hood, Robert Convigntion, TJ Warren, or Courtney Lee over freaking Shumpart

Shumpert, if he were to return to form, is a top defender. That would always be the goal with him. When you have a big man oriented team you should always be angling for a top defensive squad.

There's an open question with Shumpert right now, but there's a definite theory to it, especially after you lose Hill, who also was a pretty good defender with limited offensive abilities.

Asik is done - hopefully he won't ever again play.

I just did not like assumption that someone may return to his old form. He may. Maybe.

BTW - after signing of Allen - Pels won't be looking for another non-shooter.

I wouldn't give up a first to get rid of Asik to gain just Shump. This would mean we gave up two first rounders for Shumpert.

I'd rather make Asik rot on the bench.
