Nice, if only for continuity sake.

Heavens to Betsy thank you Jesus.

Very glad to hear this. Kinda feel bad for him though, he basically cheated himself out of some money.

He gambled and lost. If anything he should fire his agent for overestimating his value. If he shows out this year he might earn a better deal. He needs to keep shooting the 3 well.

In any case, I'm glad we were able to get him back. He is a solid option at that 3/4 spot.

Championship caliber front court, for sure.

I like the starting lineup of Rondo,Holiday,Cunningham, AD, and Cousins. I know I might get killed for this but I rather Cunningham starting than Hill. Last year, he was a more consistent 3 and D player than Hill.

So he would have made more money by not opting out of his previous contract with us. Welcome back.

    C 7'2' Alexis Ajinca
C 7'0" Omer Asik (likely OUT)
    C/PF 6'11" DeMarcus Cousins
    PF/C 6'11" Anthony Davis
    PF 6'9" Cheick Diallo
    PF/SF 6'8" Dante Cunningham
    SF 6'8" Darius Miller
SF 6'7" Solomon Hill (OUT until midyear)
    SG/SF 6'4" Tony Allen
    SG 6'4" E'Twaun Moore
    SG/PG 6'4" Jordan Crawford
    SG/PG 6'3" Ian Clark
PG/SG 6'4" Frank Jackson (likely OUT)
    PG/SG 6'4" Jrue Holiday
    PG 6'1" Rajon Rondo

somebody from the middle muddle must be the 5th starter. Assume Cunningham for fit. He can't handle, but with a twin-PG backcourt he doesn't need to.

I wouldn't kill you for that. Personally I think Hill was good enough defensively to warrant that role given good minute management but I honestly think Cunningham will be absolutely fine in that starting position, even when Hill returns.

Miller or Cunningham will start at SF depending on matchups.

    Surely it will be Dante.

    Holy hell that took forever

For all of his faults, he's automatic from the corner and he's a smart cutter. He fits nicely in the offense. His defense is somewhat of a problem, but on nights where he struggles defensively the Pels can replace him with Allen.

I still thin the Pels start Miller if he shows improved confidence in his shot. If Miller can shoot 40% from 3, he's clearly the best 3 on the roster when Hill is out. If he still is hesitant to pull the trigger, you start DC and you're fine with it.

E'Twaun will play SF in spots as well...

I still see Dante as a stretch 4. Really hoping Miller found his stride. League will be in trouble if he has.

So in theory it was 2.1M v 2.3M.

Minny could offer 2.1M (vet minimum for a 8 year player) and we only offered another 200k.

I think Dante was holding out hoping we would give him the PO he declined, hence why it took so long.

Man I'd sack my agent pretty fast.

I'm so curious to so how this rotation is going to work out. It seems as if we have a roster full of 6'4 combo guards and stretch 4's with a single PG without any defined roles.

Now, if we can get AD & Jrue to wear headbands!

With 2 PGs and 2 attention-drawing bigs he'll just need to hit that corner 3 and defend his man.
