So many questions. So much unknown.
    Mitchell was not officially appointed.
QPon is saying through twitter that he will play this year. Like 1 and 2 years ago.
It is unknown if Daniels is available. According to Grizz insiders he is available for 2 nd rounder.

We need to know the numbers for Rondo before picturing anything.
We might still have enough room to pay Ian Clark for exemple.

if we could possibly cut ties with one, or both, of our backup centers and free up enough money... Afflalo, Daniels, Clark, or Ross plus Speights would be pretty solid...

there is a report out that toronto offered jonas valanciunas to us at the trade deadline last season but no deal was struck........valanciunas has 15mil a year for 3yrs left on his contract....i wonder what they wanted from us....

so im guessing that this deal was before the cousin deal came into play.....if so, the basketball gods were looking out for us lol...........valanciunas would have been that center that would have made AD happy but im glad we have cousins....

Royce O'Neale (pelicans summer league) signs a 3 year contract with the Jazz (one fully guaranteed)

I liked his defense, but I guess we couldn't offer him than a two way contract.

Good contract for him. I thought he might have a shot for a two-way, but did not expect a full contract.

Wow. He didn't even really impress me. I mean he was fine on a 2 way or training camp but a guaranteed deal? Huh.

Anybody want to guess at how the heck Portland could trade for Melo? Their contracts are godawful.

I don't think Melo would release his no trade clause to go yo Portland. So I doubt there is any way they can trade for him even if they wanted him.

Ty Lawson has agreed to a deal with the Shanxi Dragons of China.
Lawson had an okay year with the Kings this past season, compiling averages of 9.9 points, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game, but most teams around the league have already filled the point guard position, so the market never really materialized for Lawson. It's not currently clear if his CBA contract will include an NBA-out clause, but he'll definitely be making more money overseas this season than he could in the NBA.

It could be that we offered him a 2 way and it forced another team to have to offer a guaranteed deal if they wanted him.

It's that Melo's value has been really dumpstered by New York's handling of the situation. Portland do have a couple of young pieces they could trade that may improve. I don't see them getting out of Turner's deal. But maybe Crabbe + Vonleh + future 1st(s) would do it. Harkless is another name being thrown around but you'd have to package Harkless with Leonard (who no-one wants) so I'm guessing Crabbe is the offer to match salaries, then the value parts added to that.

If I'm New York I'd probably prefer Crabbe to Ryno.

I have NO idea if Melo will waive his no trade clause for Portland, what goes through that guys head is anyones guess.

Interesting, I would rather him there than Houston.

Houston are gonna be top 2 anyway, better he goes there than make Portland stronger

I don't know. I think we match up well against Houston. We have two decent defenders to slow their superstars a bit. They don't have much to stop our juggernauts. Let's keep them back court heavy.
