The Suns have talked to the Pelicans about a potential Jared Dudley trade, according to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 (Twitter link), who adds that any deal would likely involve second-round picks. New Orleans may not have the cap room to absorb Dudley’s $10MM salary outright, so the Pelicans may have to send out a contract or two in a possible swap.

It wasn't a fake twitter account, the report just referenced the wrong account. Here's the tweet from a verified account of a sports guy in Phoenix.

Let's leave it as, this trade without sending something like Asik back is highly unlikely.

Dudley is precisely the sort of vet you need to start adding around Boogie/Brow. Smart, saavy, can shoot and make good decisions. The sort of guy that if the Pels don't get him, the Spurs might one day. The contract is the deal though of course. But either Hill or Asik works straight up, and Moore might too (it would be close). Not going to win you a title by itself, but the sort of thing that would give me some confidence that Demps actually understood how you try to build around superstars.
