NBA N/P: Orlando canned their GM today

Did Loomis do his evaluation yet? What is taking so long? Orlando reportedly interested in Grant Hill.

I don't think he's going anywhere now. I mean, they had the press conference day after the season ended? Just got Cousins.

Probably just enough to get a reprieve and run it back another damn year.

Food for thought, Minty looked to be in the clear the day after we were bounced by the Warriors. Press conferences are no certainty of job security.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Loomis has to do his assessment. This is where Minty failed.

Agreed. I don't think a press conference means anything, relating to Gentry's job security. I'll be a little surprised and very disappointed if Gentry is back next year.

Orlando GM was going to be fired for a some time.
"board affair" was still the determining factor

I have said it earlier (without internal sources)

Dell has defended himself with DMC and Crawford aquisitions (not saying that it is right or wrong).
Alvin has defended himself when AD-DMC started to look good.

    Don't expect a change here.
Unless Loomis will find 5 minutes to think about Pelicans' future...
