Portland leading now but I do agree the T-Wolves could be good next year.
Portland won.
ok, now i feel better
Really strange that some people are STILL struggling (after not having a legitimate chance at the Playoffs for a few weeks now) and debating about the very slim possibility and what could have been in a very distant reality far, far away from the one we live in. I personally don't see how it matters too much for the team going forward in the first place if we earned the right to be swept by the Warriors or not - so I really, really don't get it. Now what matters BIG TIME is the upcomimg offseason and the next season, so I think we all should focus on that now. It's not like we just went a buzzerbeater short of winning it all or someting like that... ;-)
Turning on to next season, the projected cap went down to 101 million. Not the best news considering we have really something to do in the offseason to make things work.

Who was "struggling"? Some of us have been around sports long enough to know nothing is impossible. Real life around highly unpredictable human beings is like that. This isn't about a bunch of programmed machines you can apply Six Sigma rationale to.
Minnesota went into the 4th with a 9 point lead, then proceeded to score 5 points in the first 9 minutes of the 4th quarter. Pure definition of CHOKE.
Kinda like our own team.
Anyways. This off season will be interesting.
After the Portland loss tonight the final days of Alvin Gentry are coming.
Pawel
Alvin Gentry is a gone Pecan.
We will see
2 years ago Monty was going to stay and was fired.
Laste year there was an option that Gentry will be fired. He stayed.
this year we will see.
I will say this: if Gentry is going to be replaced by Avery/Vinny Del Negro, then I want him to stay...
I will stay with Dell & Alvin and fire Benson. Or Loomis.
