Unclear why Ferry is a good option? He kinda failed to get LeBron the support he needed, then at best he helped Atlanta become a starless treadmill team before the giant "African" stink bomb. No track record at all that I can recall with dominant big men, let alone two of them.
That occurred to me too, but I think that's an all time career Laker there.

Same reason Demps is the problem. Paying for Ruth's Chris & dining at Buds Broiler . Galette/Asik- Browner/Pondexter- Byrd/Gordon. Et al . Oh mirror images on nauseating draft management. Chronic salary cap misuse is singularly the causality of what ? General Manager . Thus, although Buds Broiler is pretty good, one should not pay for Ruth's Chris. Especially if you have to use a credit card to do it.
Who have we went after as a Saint that we couldn't bring in due to money? We've had dead money sure, but we've went into every season thinking we were going to be competing only to have injuries destroy our defense.
Also all the while we've been struggling Loomis has steadily been rebuilding our roster.
