    Grizzlies signing Wayne Selden

    Man he was playing good don't know how they signed him away from us , Dell sleeping again .

    You forgot /sarcasm.

    He played alright for us but he's completely an end of the bench player.

    For example, with the news that Lance won't be picked up by the Wolves I'd rather Lance than Selden for us.

    Is he eligible for the playoffs? I mean, he was starting for us, so seems weird that he would choose to leave. I'm wondering if the Pels were moving on.

    I'd rather Lance than Selden too but Selden was starting to play pretty good .

    Was his 10-day contract up? I wonder if Selden gave the Pelicans a chance to sign him first when approached by the Grizzlies. We're not talking much of a guarantee for the rest of the season (25 days).

    Didn't Lance get hurt again? If he is healthy, I would be fine with that. I liked that Selden was young and was shooting the ball well.

    Yes his 10 day ran out and the Grizzlies pounced. Not sure if he gave the Pels a chance to match or not. Probably did, he had a starting spot with us which would give him more exposure for a deal.

    TBH, I completely forgot that he was on the Pels, so when I saw the thread title I though, "Wayne Seldom used was signed by the Grizz? Who gives AF?"

    His last game for the Pels was really good. He made 4 shots including 3 threes . He was still timid but I liked the way he moved on the floor. A pity he is gone but it's not a real issue

    Grizzlies must be watching Pels closely and they probably believe Dell is good at finding role players. They have Ennis, Douglas and now Selden

    Selden was in their preseason games and their affiliate d-league team, but they definitely would have been watching his performances with us.
