Jack played well for Nets last year, but had a torn ACL middle of the season. With more than a year after he should be starting to look decent. After all Pels are looking for a 3rd PG, not a major rotation piece, so a smart vet, who is a good locker room presence (you need to come Boogie down and talk to him in the middle of the game from time to time), is much more valuable than a young PG, who might see the floor maybe for 200 minutes. In the end Jack has some PO experience as well.
