Love the guy but at this point I'd trade qpon for a box of chocolates. I think someone might bite on Ajinca, hopefully.

Have my doubts that we will be able to rid ourselves of either.

Quincy has been out forever - if it is longer than 18mo. isn't there some option where you can opt for a injury cash refund at the end of the year? -and its transferable. An owner could pocket around $5m cash if he has the available cap room to absorb him. It would have to be a team that has the cap room and doesn't plan to use it.

How about sending Ajinca and T Jones to Charlotte for old Marco Bellinelli? lol Or throw in QPon with them to try and snag Jeremy Lamb!
Or send Ajinca to the Heat for Dion Waiters? lol

Who the hell wants Pondexter these days? Ajinca can be had for very little. Probably a 2nd.

Good question. He has a year left on his contract, so whoever takes him is going to be tied up for another $3+m next season. There is no sense in this.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

At this point I'm happy with cash considerations for Ajinca.

Whoever gets QPon can buy him out. No?

Wouldn't QPon's salary be covered by insurance since he hasn't played in a year? If he continues not playing then his salary is basically free. A team could trade for matching salaries just to clear space for themselves, if I understand it correctly.

They can't clear cap space but they can save money on his deal I think. I'm not entirely sure on how the insurance thing works
