Even though nothing appears serious at the moment, how would Reggie Jackson fit with the Pelicans? Also, who will the team trade to get him?

He hasn't been the same since his injury. This may be Demps toying with a buylow.
Jrue dat
Only reason to entertain the idea of acquiring him is if Jrue is either traded, or has told the team he will not re-sign.
To answer your question... I think Reggie is a solid PG and would fit well, but can he stay healthy? I have no idea what his trade value is so I don't know what it would take to get him. We as fans undervalue other teams players but overvalue our own, so I won't touch that one.
Same report mentions the Pistons are also shopping Andre Drummond? Good Lord, what?
I said in a pod a month ago after I went to the Jazz Pistons game that the smart move would be Detroit to move him now. They don't use him and his game isn't growing. Would be very wise if them to trade him

I think many teams are turned off by his childish attitude and selfish game. Speaks volumes that they are better when Ish plays.
I can't stand the way he plays.
Drummond wouldn't cost that much. Everyone else except us seems to know that a guy with that skill set doesn't help you win even as much as a Jae Crowder. Crowder for Drummond and the Celtics say heck no

Jackson's personality has never absorbed easily into a team environment. He's both quiet and intensely self-confident. "In an ideal world, if I could run pick-and-roll on every play and it would lead to a championship, that's what I want," Jackson said. Teammates and coaches in Oklahoma City rolled their eyes at Jackson's habit of writing "SPG" and "HOF" -- for "starting point guard" and "Hall of Fame" -- on his shoes while serving as Russell Westbrook's backup.
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
Which NBA player isn't arrogant?
Maybe those acronyms were for motivation rather than what he believed he was.
The Pistons and Magic have discussed a trade that would send Reggie Jackson to Orlando for D.J. Augustin and Jeff Green, league sources say.

If the Pelicans really have/had interest in Jackson, I think they could easily beat this deal.
Ah annual Jeff green trade. Detroit wants to pay KCP and jacksons not good.
Jackson is exactly what this team does not need.
What if the sixers would want him? We could do a three way and maybe not have to give up our 2018 pick.

What if we workout a 3 way trade with Detroit and Orlando?
Apparently Orlando and Detroit are talking
DJ Augustine has a jersey form almost every NBA franchise.
