After watching last nights game and seeing Jones not being able to spread the court and getting blocked we need to upgrade that position soon especially as to how much we are dependent on that position. Ryno fit the bill perfectly but we couldn't afford to keep him. Diallo is at least a year or 2 away but will be great when he is. Who can we grab now to make a difference this season?
There are 2 guys that I think would fit nicely if we could pry them away from their teams. Both players could play both sf and PF depending on matchups.
First is Trey Lyles from the Jazz. He has good size and range and still a bench player. I haven't seen much of him since summer league but he look great there and I like his range.
The other is Aaron Gordon. Good size and leaping ability to go with some occasional 3's would be great.
The other benefit is when AD goes out we take a huge step back (understandably)and we need someone that can step in. What do y'all think and what can we offer to get one? Would a conditional pick and a player like Reke work or even take back a not so great player?
