I'm not afraid to put myself out there. I think our team is going to be good this year. Not contender good. That means on a level with the Warriors, Cavs, Spurs, and such.
But we can push for a playoff team.
BUT, we gotta stay healthy. Get a lot of games from AD and have Jrue not miss too much time, though he has to take care of his family first.
I think Jrue will be back sooner than later. Hopefully all went well with the surgery and she can recover quickly considering she is an elite athlete as well.Originally Posted by Eman5805

Of course, as the Warriors have shown, any team in the league could always use another guy like that.

I simply don't have any trust in what QPon or Tyreke can give us when they get back. Both are coming back from multiple knee surgeries.
While I'd like to hope QPon can be exactly what he was 18 months ago, there's just no way of knowing.
Our biggest hope is either Buddy blows up or Jrue comes back and dominants. I guess you could add Terrance Jones being better than anyone expected as another hope. But we need good guard play.
No back downs. You're totally right. Yeah. It would be nice to just land a super star but the Warriors' players became stars while they were at GS. Not before. I could see this being a playoff team. Homeslice was being pessimistic with the lottery tag.

This offseason was about collecting assets and improvement.
Hill, Galloway, Moore, Jones, Diallo, Hield all might be nice assets.
Some of them may click, some maybe don't.
But apart from Hill - they are not on a fat contracts.
Of course Galloway and Jones may not be easy to resign, but in both cases we have advantage.
They will know the core, one of them is AD buddy, second is a local BR guy.
Baby steps.
Take care about next games and root for them.

Can't figure out why Gentry played AD so many minutes after just coming back from an injury.
