Alvin Gentry interview during the saints game

I was watching the game and listening to the interview and AG was talking about how good Jru Holliday was coming along and he said something to the effect of he's doing good but we got some things going on right now so we'll see what's going to happen there, I don't have a link but it was :40 seconds left in the 3rd quarter 3rd and 7. Not sure how to take it just wondering if anyone else caught that?

It's just the way he was talking all glowing about him then just said we'll see we got some things going right now, it just struck me as a "stay tuned" statement

Just to play devils advocate, maybe they are completing an extension. It sounded pretty open ended and not for sure a bad thing. But I'll agree, smart money is it wasn't good whatever he meant.

Man I don't like the sound of that. It can go either way but it does sound like a trade may be possible if he doesn't sign an extension. Hope I am completely wrong though and he is just excited for an extension

Just something that made me say "wait what" lol rewinded it 3 or 4 times
